John provides a relaxed environment, and always looks forward to making his guests look their best! When John is not behind the chair he loves to travel and tend to his plants. He is considered an orchid specialist in the Wilmington area. John never misses an opportunity to learn new trends and he gives free time to help the homeless in our area.

Denise is one of our original suite owners who has over twenty years experience as a master colorist, she is certified and trained in multiple color systems such as Wella, Lanza, Matrix, Kenra, Redken, etc. She specializes in keratin smoothing treatments, hair extensions KTip and tape in hair, highlighting techniques, multicolor trends, and haircuts from long to short lengths. Julia has been a hairstylist in this area for many years. She specializes in men and women cuts, highlights, root color touch ups, and lived in styles. Julia enjoys making people feel and look their best while providing product knowledge and creating the perfect space for her guests to relax. Julia also owns and manages her own beach properties in the area so if she is not behind the chair, she is more than likely working on giving her out of town guests a fantastic beach vacation.

Ashley has worked at the suites as a hairstylist for over 12 years, and eventually fell into the role of owning the original Salon1Suites. In Summer 2024, she opened a second location SalonOneSuites at the Range with her life long friend Crystal Cameron. Ashley specializes in curly and wavy cuts, short haircuts, blonding hair colors, natural looking hair coloring, and years of education with Lanza, Redken, Purelogy, Deva Curl, Matrix, Wella, Bumble, etc. Ashley never turns down an opportunity to learn, and enjoys educating her guests with styling techniques and maintenance tips.

Rachel has been doing hair in the Wilmington area for over 16 years. She specializes in hair color, balayage, teased lights, root smudges, and just about any natural looking blonde or brunette with multidimensional hair color. She is a master colorist and cutting specialist who loves working with natural wavy and curly hair. When not in the salon, Rachel can be found at a cheerleading competition with her two girls or supporting her oldest son in his extracurricular activities. Louise is semi retired but cannot seem to fully walk away from a career she truly loves. She is a professional colorist who can do it all. From blunt cuts to angle bobs with wild red heads to midnight dark colors and even some brightness of those summer blondes, Louise can do it all! Karen Ford has been a stylist for over thirty years. She was a Goldwell educator for nine years before she gave up traveling to be a mom but she never gave up her work behind the chair. Karen is also known as a celebrity stylist, so when actors are here working, they have Karen’s full trust to keep it quiet and professional while achieving the desired look for filming. Lauren and Bethany divide their time throughout the week while using their private studio, Lauren owns her on Bridal Business www.bombshellbridemobile.com. This is where Lauren gets to honor each bride and her bridal party on site. Lauren also provides hair and makeup, she is a Bellami Extension Specialist for those looking to add length or fullness to their fine hair. She is trained in a variety of  foiling techniques, blonding, and specialized cuts. Another passion of Lauren’s is she is an animal activist and gives her time helping animals find forever homes.
